Bhubaneswar: A new chapter began today in the Odisha Legislative Assembly as Shri Jay Dholakia was sworn in as the newly elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Nuapada constituency. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of the Speaker, Smt. Surama Padhi.
Shri Dholakia, the son of the late Shri Raju Dholakia, was administered the oath of office, marking his official entry into the Assembly. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Ministers, fellow MLAs, and other prominent leaders, all of whom offered their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected representative.
Shri Dholakia secured his seat following a decisive victory in the by-election, where he garnered the highest number of votes, defeating the other contenders by a significant margin. His induction into the Assembly was met with enthusiasm from those present.
