Kalikesh Leads Nuapada Campaign

Nuapada: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) senior lawmaker and Bolangir MLA, Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, spearheaded a powerful grassroots campaign today for the party’s candidate, Smt. Snehangini Chhuria, in the Khariar Road Notified Area Council (NAC) Ward-3 in Nuapada by-election.

The high-profile campaign saw Shri Singh Deo, along with hundreds of BJD women and men workers, engaging in extensive door-to-door canvassing across the ward.

The team personally met with residents, humbly requesting their vote for Smt. Snehangini Chhuria and urging them to cast their ballot in favor of the party’s symbol, the conch.

The involvement of a senior MLA like Shri Singh Deo highlights the BJD’s concerted effort to secure the Khariar Road NAC seat.

The door-to-door approach focused on directly connecting with voters, understanding local issues, and reinforcing the party’s development agenda ahead of the crucial by-election.

The large turnout of party workers, particularly women, demonstrated strong mobilization on the ground in support of the BJD candidate.

As a prominent MLA from the neighboring Bolangir region, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo is one of the key leaders entrusted with managing the campaign.

BJD leader Shri Singh Deo is reminding the people of the development works undertaken in the district during Naveen Patnaik’s tenure, such as the construction of the Biju Expressway, irrigation projects, and welfare schemes.

The by-election is a significant prestige battle, as it is the first major electoral contest in Odisha since the BJP formed the government in the state.
