Nuapada: Biju Janata Dal President Shri Naveen Patnaik has reached Nuapada today for election campaigning. Addressing thousands of people who attended a huge election meeting organized at Tarabod, Dhanmandi Grounds of Komna Block, Shri Patnaik appealed to them to vote for BJD candidate Snehangini Chhuria in Nuapada by-election with the conch symbol.
In his speech, Shri Patnaik first paid tribute to former MLA Rajendra Dholakia and recalled Biju Babu’s contribution in the formation of Nuapada district.
Shri Patnaik said that Nuapada district had improved greatly during the Biju Janata Dal government. Starting from Biju Expressway, good drinking water, more than 10 thousand hectares of land have been irrigated. Many steps were taken for the welfare of the people of Sunabeda Sanctuary.
But since the BJP government came to power, the situation has completely changed, Shri Patnaik expressed his anger. He said that the development work has completely stopped in the entire state. Law and order has completely collapsed. Women oppression has crossed all limits. The reputation of Odisha, the state of brotherhood, has been ruined today.
Mission Shakti Ma’s brought a silent movement in the state. But this government Mission Shakti Ma’s has not received a loan today. Shri Patnaik expressed grief that Mission Shakti Ma’s have not received salary for 8 months. This government is only engaged in false propaganda. Heroes in false propaganda. But zero in work. This government is not a game changer but a name changer. A government that changes colors.
Shri Patnaik in his speech discussed the government’s promises, such as 300 units of free electricity, Rs. 3500 allowance to all old and young people, jobs for 100 youth from all panchayats, farmers getting urea fertilizer, stopping crop rotation, BSKY is better or Ayushman card is better etc.
Shri Patnaik said that BJP had formed the government by stealing votes. And they have stolen candidates. There has been a betrayal with the people of Nuapada, with the Biju Janata Dal and with him. For this, there is anger in the minds of the people. Shri Patnaik firmly stated that the people of Nuapada will give an answer to this betrayal of trust through votes.
In this meeting, senior BJD leaders Prasanna Acharya, Manoj Mishra, MP Niranjan Bisi, Tukuni Sahu, Abani Joshi, MLA Adhiraj Panigrahi, candidate Snehangini Chhuria gave keynote speeches and appealed to vote with the conch symbol.
