The theme for this year’s symposium is “International Symposium on Shree Anna & Women’s Participation in Agricultural Heritage.” A key focus will be a dedicated session on women farmers, acknowledging their participation in agriculture, which is comparable to that of men, and recognizing them as the true guardians of traditional food crop.

The symposium is set to draw a wide array of participants, including agriculturists, scientists, women agri-preneurs, NGOs, FPOs, and representatives from international organizations such as FAO, MSSRF, IFPRI, and SEWA. A significant attendance is also expected from farmers, entrepreneurs, and students.

Preparations are progressing rapidly to ensure the event’s success. This year, the mascot will feature a distinctive element, wearing the famous Phuta Saree of Mayurbhanj.
