Sai Temple Land Consecrated In Surrey

Surrey: The Shri Shirdi Sai Kripa Dham Foundation in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, marked a significant milestone recently with the land consecration ceremony (Bhoomi Puja) for its upcoming Shridi Saibaba Temple.

The auspicious event was graced by the presence of the renowned scholar, spiritual thinker, and humanitarian, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy.

Dr. Satpathy’s arrival was met with a warm, traditional welcome by the temple trustees and devoted followers. He then led the Bhoomi Puja, a sacred ritual performed to seek the blessings of Mother Earth before commencing the temple’s construction. Following this, Dr. Satpathy participated in the Madhyan Aarti (mid-day prayers).

Later in the afternoon, Dr. Satpathy visited the tB13 Shirdi Sai Mandir at 13042, 84th Avenue, Surrey. The visit featured captivating traditional dance performances by children, showcasing the local community’s vibrant culture.

In his address to the gathering, Dr. Satpathy encouraged the younger generation to explore and excel in diverse fields, including art, culture, music, literature, and science.

He also took the opportunity to appreciate the diverse cultural landscape of Surrey and Seattle, stressing the vital importance of community bridging and mutual understanding.
