Cuttack: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today led a massive 10-kilometer-long ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ procession in Cuttack’s Bayalish Mauja, as part of the nationwide campaign celebrating patriotism and national unity.

The procession, which commenced at Berhampur Chack and culminated at Kalpada, saw the Chief Minister leading from an open jeep, proudly holding the national flag.

He was joined by thousands of enthusiastic citizens, including Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Sethi and other local representatives. A large number of participants on bikes, waving the tricolor and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” added to the patriotic fervor. Along the route, women from the community greeted and welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers and traditional lamps.

Addressing the media following the rally, Chief Minister Shri Majhi emphasized the deep significance of the national flag. He described the tricolor as a “silent witness to our resolve, struggle, sacrifice and self-denial,” and stated that the procession, organized on the call of the Prime Minister, aims to instill a sense of respect for the national flag and promote an awareness of patriotism among the public.

The Chief Minister highlighted the campaign’s important role in strengthening national unity.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, a nationwide initiative, encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes and workplaces to mark India’s independence and foster a personal connection with the tricolor.
