Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS) at SOA Deemed to be University hosted a national conference on “Digital Transformation and Sustainable Innovation.”
Speakers stressed the need to integrate digital transformation with sustainable innovation to address contemporary challenges.
The conference emphasized turning academic knowledge into real-world societal impact through practical, inclusive, and sustainable development.
Attendees included Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of SOA, and Prof. (Dr.) Sanghamitra Mishra, Dean of IMS and SUM Hospital.
Prof. Manoranjan Dash, the Organising Convenor, creatively linked the conference theme to Indian mythology, comparing digital adaptability to the avatars of Lord Vishnu.
Prof. Enketeswara Subudhi spoke on securing research grants with his talk, “From Idea to Implementation.”
The conference was also addressed by Prof. (Dr.) Ruchi Bhuyan, Dean of the Institute of Dental Sciences, and Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare).
Prof. Dash presented the conference report, and Dr. Preeti Y. Shadangi, Conference Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
