Gurugram: The revered Guru Purnima Utsav was observed with immense devotion and fervor in Gurugram, graced by the divine presence of Gurujee Dr. C.B. Satpathy. The event, held at Sai Ka Angan, served as a platform for significant spiritual and literary announcements.
A major highlight of the auspicious occasion was the grand release of the Marathi and Gujarati translations of Gurujee’s acclaimed English bestseller, Shirdi Sai Baba: An Inspiring Life. This monumental work, stemming from over three decades of profound research and spiritual insight, meticulously chronicles the divine life and profound teachings of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. The translations aim to make this significant spiritual text accessible to a wider audience.
The day also marked the inauguration of ‘Gyaandeep’—a digital e-library, a deeply personal endeavor by Dr. Satpathy. ‘Gyaandeep’ represents the culmination of his extensive journey as a distinguished scholar, prolific writer, and dedicated spiritual researcher. Since his early youth, Dr. Satpathy has amassed a remarkable collection of rare and historically significant Odia literary works, including invaluable titles such as Purna Chandra Bhasakosh, Dagara, and Jhankar.
Further underscoring his unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s rich literary heritage, Dr. Satpathy has magnanimously donated over 1,000 rare books and magazines to the Harekrishna Mahatab State Library in Odisha. This extraordinary contribution includes nearly 50 volumes that are over a century old, and more than 150 that have surpassed the half-century mark. Additionally, he has generously provided copies of rare manuscripts and books related to Shri Sai Baba to the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, enriching their spiritual repository.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of trustees from prominent Sai temples, particularly those from Maharashtra and Gujarat, alongside a distinguished gathering of senior IAS, IPS, and IRS officers. Smt. Malavika Devi, the Member of Parliament from Kalahandi, also graced the occasion, honoring the celebrations with her presence.
