Puri: Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati joined countless devotees in Puri today to witness the majestic Rath Jatra of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. He described the experience as profoundly spiritual and uplifting.
“Truly blessed to be in the divine presence of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra during the sacred celebration of Rath Jatra in Puri,” the Governor shared.
He noted that the sight of the towering chariots moving along the Bada Danda (Grand Road), accompanied by the fervent chants of “Jai Jagannath,” fostered a joyful and devotional atmosphere. This collective experience, he observed, united everyone in faith and devotion.
The Governor concluded by expressing his wish that Lord Jagannath’s blessings guide all towards righteousness, compassion, and harmony.
