Congress Exposes BJP’s Betrayal

Balangir: Congress Legislative Party Leader Rama Chandra Kadam, Senior Congress leader Santosh Singh Saluja, along with other prominent party members, launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Odisha government, alleging that its first year in power has been nothing short of “Betrayal” against the people of the state.

Addressing Media here, Shri Kadam and Shri Saluja accused the State BJP Government of failing to deliver on its electoral promises and instead engaging in acts that betray the trust of the electorate.

While specific details of the alleged “Betrayal” were presented in the charge sheet, the Congress leaders’ statements signal a renewed offensive against the ruling party as it completes its one-year anniversary in office.

The Congress’s “charge sheet,” titled ‘Barsha Eka, Pratarana Aneka’ (One year, many betrayals), highlights several critical areas where they claim the BJP has deceived the public

The Congress leaders highlighted several areas where they believe the BJP government has fallen short, indicating that the promises made during the election campaign remain largely unfulfilled. They vowed to continue to hold the government accountable and expose what they termed as its “anti-people” policies.

This latest broadside from the Congress comes amidst heightened political activity in Odisha, with opposition parties intensifying their scrutiny of the state government’s performance.

The BJP, which came to power with a significant mandate in the recent assembly elections, is expected to issue a response to the allegations in the coming days, likely defending its track record and highlighting its achievements during its first year.
