CM Lauds Shree Gundicha Project

Puri: The ongoing Shree Gundicha development project in Puri received a significant boost today with an appreciative visit from the Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi.

The Chief Minister toured the expansive site, commending the diligent efforts undertaken to transform and enhance the sacred complex for devotees.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Urban Development Minister Krushnachandra Mahapatra, Puri MP Sambit Patra, Local MLA and other officials including Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, DGP Y B Khurania joined review.

Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), guided the Chief Minister through the various facets of the ambitious project.

The tour highlighted the significant progress in improving infrastructure, pilgrim amenities, and overall accessibility around the historic Gundicha Temple, a pivotal site during the annual Ratha Jatra.

Sources within the SJTA indicated that the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work. His visit serves as a strong endorsement of the project, which aims to seamlessly blend spiritual heritage with modern facilities, ensuring a more comfortable and enriching experience for the millions of pilgrims who visit Puri.
