IREDA Fueling Inner Harmony With Yoga

New Delhi: On the 11th International Day of Yoga, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) joined hands with other ministries and CPSEs at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, to celebrate the profound connection between individual well-being and planetary health.

Under the global theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” IREDA exemplified its dedication to a sustainable future, not just through its core mission of advancing clean energy, but also by championing holistic wellness for its employees and the nation.

The event was graced by Shri Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy; Shrimati Nidhi Khare, Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs; and Shri Sanjeev Chopra, Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, along with other senior officials. A large number of senior officials and employees from participating ministries and CPSEs took part in the yoga session, fostering a collective spirit of health, mindfulness, and harmony with nature.

The active participation of Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, IREDA, and Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), IREDA, underscored the belief that just as renewable energy powers a cleaner planet, yoga empowers individuals to achieve physical, mental, and emotional harmony.

CMD IREDA Shri Das emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily life, especially for professionals in dynamic and impactful sectors like renewable energy and public service. This sentiment resonates deeply with IREDA’s mission. By promoting yoga, IREDA acknowledges that a healthy and mindful workforce is better equipped to drive the innovation and progress needed to achieve India’s green energy goals.

This celebration was more than just a yoga session; it was a powerful statement that well-being and sustainability are two sides of the same coin. IREDA’s commitment to both highlights a holistic vision for a brighter, healthier future for all.
