India and Bhutan Discuss Labor Mobility

Thimphu, Bhutan – A high-level dialogue took place between the Prime Minister of Bhutan, H.E. Tshering Tobgay, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, India, Shri K. V. Singh Deo, at the Conference on Labor Mobility and Social Protection. The conference, organized by the World Bank, served as a platform for exchanging perspectives on critical issues related to regional cooperation, sustainable development, and the shared aspirations of both nations for a prosperous future.

Shri Singh Deo represented India at the conclave. The discussions emphasized the deep-rooted friendship and strong ties between Bhutan and India, characterized by mutual respect and collaboration.
