Bhubaneswar: A significant new book “Ratna Bhandar Of Shree Jagannath Temple” delving into the intricacies of the Srimandir-vis-a-vis, the treasure trove of the revered Shree Jagannath Temple, was unveiled here today.

The book is a collaborative effort of Dr. Bhaskar Mishra, a senior researcher specializing in Shree Jagannath Culture, and former Bureaucrat Shri Susanta Kumar Dash. Shri Dash is an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath.

Authored by Dr. Mishra and Shri Dash, the book promises to offer valuable insights into the history, significance, and contents of the temple’s inner treasury. The unveiling ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished personalities.

Former Principal Secretary Culture, Manoranjan Panigrahi, had the honor of unveiling the book.

Commissioner of Labour, Indramani Tripathy, attended the event as the Honourable Guest, adding to the significance of the occasion.

Prof. Basanta Kumar Panda, the Chief Speaker at the event, provided a detailed exposition on the book’s content and its importance in understanding the rich heritage of the Shree Jagannath Temple.

His address highlighted the research and effort undertaken by the authors in bringing this important aspect of Odisha’s cultural heritage to light.
