Bengaluru: Dr.Ashok Dalwai has said “Wrong appreciation of the government’s considered decision on ceasefire and inappropriate understanding of the roles and responsibilities of different government functionaries leads to unwarranted abuses on social platforms.
Former NRRA Chief said Shri Vikram Misri, the Foreign Secretary of India, has been conducting himself with responsibility, elan and dignity. He has won kudos for the way he has been discharging his highly sensitive duties with the maturity and calmness expected of a senior diplomat and civil servant.
The troll army has been unjust to this professional civil servant and a well-recognized diplomat by hurling abuses on him. Not satisfied with their attack on him, the negatively enthusiastic crowd hasn’t spared even his family, including his young daughter.
We need to educate our people on the right and positive use of social media, apart from enabling them to discern the process of governance and administration.
We stand in the moral support of Shri Vikram Misri, said 1984 batch IAS(R).
We are happy that people across the lines, including various political parties, have condemned this attitude, said Dr.Dalwai
