OCA Chief Honors Team Cuttack

Cuttack: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA)’s esteemed President, Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty honoured Team Cuttack as it emerged victorious in the final match of the OCA Inter District Women’s Cricket Tournament, concluded recently at the prestigious Barabati Stadium.

Shri Mohanty has always promoted sports in general and Cricket in particular was happy to honor the players as he graced the occasion along with other distinguished members of the OCA.

 The keenly contested final saw Cuttack clinch the championship title, while Balangir put up a strong fight to finish as the Runners-up.

The closing ceremony was graced OCA Treasurer, Bikash Pradhan and other key officials.

 The Champion team, Cuttack, was awarded a prize money of ₹2,00,000 for their stellar performance throughout the tournament. The Runners-up team, Balangir, was also recognized for their commendable efforts and received a prize of ₹1,00,000.

Adding to the accolades, Monalisha Rout of the champion team, Cuttack, was declared the Player of the Final for her exceptional performance in the title-deciding match. Her contribution proved instrumental in Cuttack’s triumph.

The successful conclusion of the OCA Inter District Women’s Cricket Tournament highlights the growing talent and enthusiasm for women’s cricket at the district level in Odisha.

 The presence of OCA office bearers at the final underscores the association’s commitment to promoting and nurturing women’s cricket in the state.
