Political Parties Support Army Action

New Delhi: In a rare display of national unity, political leaders across India’s diverse spectrum have voiced their unwavering support for “Operation Sindoor,” the Indian Armed Forces’ precision strikes against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The operation, launched in response to the devastating Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians, has garnered widespread acclaim. Leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties have expressed solidarity with the armed forces, emphasizing the nation’s resolve against terrorism.

  • Across the Political Spectrum:
    • Leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, AAP, RJD, Telugu Desham and other regional parties have issued statements and social media posts praising the operation.
    • Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his support with the words “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.  
    • Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge, reiterated his parties support of the armed forces actions.  
    • AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, also showed support of the operation.
    • AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal supported Operation Sindoor.
    • Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday expressed strong support for the Indian Army’s ongoing Operation Sindoor, describing it as a firm step against terrorism and separatism emanating from across the border.
    • In a forceful statement, Shri Yadav said, “India, Indians, and the Indian Army have never tolerated terrorism or separatism—and we never will.” He praised the armed forces for their unflinching dedication to national security, adding, “The Indian Army has always protected the wombs of mothers, the wrists of sisters, and the vermilion on their foreheads.”
