A first-year B.Tech Computer Science student from Nepal at KIIT University was found dead in an alleged suicide, according to information received from local police.
University authorities immediately informed the parents of the deceased student about the tragic incident.
Following the report, senior officials, including the Commissioner of Police and the Revenue Divisional Commissioner, promptly arrived at the university to investigate the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident and to ensure that all necessary actions are taken.
A forensic team is currently at the scene collecting evidence to aid in the investigation.
