Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida thanked Media Men for their positive role for the successful implementation of Subhadra Yojana. She said the Government expect to receive thoughtful feedback from them for further improving the scheme.
Smt. Parida expressed the view that the role of the media is very important in creating public awareness by spreading the SOPs and guidelines of Subhadra Yojana at every door step.
She mentioned that Subhadra Yojana will be further enriched through various skill training programs. Answering various questions of the media representatives, Smt. Parida promised to work on their thoughtful feedback.
Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Parida thanked the officers of the Women and Child Development Department, the Anganwadi workers working at the grassroots level, and the workers of Mo Seva Kendras and Jan Seva Kendras for connecting more than one crore beneficiaries to the Subhadra Yojana in a very short time.
The event was attended by the Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management, Suresh Pujari and discussed various issues with the media representatives.
200 senior journalists of various leading media houses attended the event. In addition, Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner, Anu Garg attended the event and answered various questions related to Subhadra. Director, Women and Child Development Department, Monisha Banerjee and senior officers of the department attended the event.
