Deba Prasad Dash; New Director I&PR

Bhubaneswar: In a reshuffle within the State’s Administrative framework, Senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) Officer, Shri Deba Prasad Dash, has been promoted to the prestigious rank of Special Secretary in the Government of Odisha.Shri Dash has been given additional charge of Director, Information and Public Relations (I & PR) Department.

Shri Dash, who was previously serving as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, will now assume the role of Special Secretary within the same department.

The General Administration & Public Grievance Department issued a notification earlier today announcing the promotion and subsequent appointment. This elevation recognizes Shri Dash’s years of dedicated service and his contributions to the State Administration.

Prior to this promotion, Shri Dash has held various significant positions within the state government, showcasing his administrative acumen and commitment to public service. His tenure as Joint Secretary in the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture has been marked by his active involvement in promoting and preserving the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Odisha.

In addition to his new responsibilities as Special Secretary in the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, Shri Dash has been entrusted with the crucial additional charge of Director, Information and Public Relations (I & PR) Department. This additional responsibility underscores the State Government’s confidence in his ability to effectively manage the state’s communication and outreach efforts.
