Bhubaneswar: On the eve of Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today said his doors will always be open for the investors to share their success stories, challenges and lodge grievances.
Addressing a business session organized by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), the Chief Minister said, “We believe in a transparent and accountable government where every investor is treated as a valued partner. My doors will always be open for discussions on your success stories, challenges and grievances as part of your journey with us.”
Shri Majhi said his team is dedicated to offering a world-class experience to anyone wishing to invest in Odisha. The government aims to make Odisha, the state that offers not only Ease of Doing Business but also lower Cost of Doing Business, he stated.
The state’s core agenda is to generate quality employment opportunities for its people and provide them with the necessary skills and support to help them access high-quality jobs anywhere, he pointed out.
The state government’s commitment remains firm, in ensuring that Odisha remains a preferred destination, for both global and domestic investors. The Chief Minister said his primary objective is to create massive opportunities for the people, especially the youth.
“My vision is simple, yet ambitious: to attract industrial investments, create jobs and ensure sustainable economic growth for the people of Odisha. In pursuit of our vision of a Samrudh Odisha by 2036, we have taken several initiatives to position Odisha as an industrial hub,” he added.
The State government has adopted a three-pronged approach-Developing Robust Industrial Infrastructure, Championing Ease of Doing Business and Advocating for Large-scale Job Creation, he said, adding, the government has earmarked substantial resources for critical infrastructure projects in its budget.
The Government’s focus is to provide world-class infrastructure and ready-to-use plug-and-play facilities for companies wishing to set up industrial units in Odisha, the CM further said.
Furthermore, he added, the State has streamlined our regulatory processes to fast-track industrial approvals and clearances.
“Together, we can glorify the emotions of economic progress with a holistic approach by embracing the values of sustainable development. I want to convey the message that Odisha is a unique state which breathes progress, feeds progress and needs progress,” Shri Majhi told the investors.
