New Delhi: Dr.Ashok Dalwai has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Expert Committee On “Formulation of National Policy On Agricultural Marketing.
Dr.Dalwai, Former Chairman Doubling Farmer’s Income has been nominated to the Board Of Experts as Vice Chairman, formed by National Council Of State Agricultural Marketing Boards, Government of India.
Dr.Dalwai’s Report On Doubling Farmer’s Income was accepted by Government of India and is being implemented for benefits of the farmers.
Dr.Dalwai, an expert in Agriculture Sector has served in Government of India as Chief of National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA).
A Pro-Farmer Mandarin, Dr.Dalwai has been at the helm of Policy Making in the Agriculture Sector for last one decade.
The Expert Committee will finalize the National Policy on Agricultural Marketing in general and Fruits and Vegetables in particular, said sources.
