Bhubaneswar: The State government today decided to form an inter-ministerial committee to resolve ongoing various disputes of Odisha with neighbouring states.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took this decision during a high-level meeting held here today at Lok Seva Bhawan under his chairmanship.
The meeting held a detailed discussion regarding various inter-state disputes including Polavaram, Vansadhara, Mahanadi, Kotia etc.
Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Advocate General Pitambar Acharya, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Nikunj Bihari Dhal, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, and Principal Secretary, Law Department Manas Ranjan Barik attended the meeting.
