Bhubaneswar : Chief Minister Charan Majhi advised Officials to speed up various development programs and increase the plan expenditure.
Along with this, Chief Minister advised to accelerate the growth by spending more in various sectors. He said that if growth accelerates, employment opportunities will also increase.
Chief Minister was addressing All Secretaries here in a meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan on 20 August.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner, Anu Garg, ACS Revenue & Disaster Management Satyabrata Sahu, ACS to Chief Minister, Nikunj Bihari Dhal and Secretaries of various departments were present in the meeting.
CM said that various departments, especially those in charge of infrastructure construction, should hire more technical manpower where necessary and carry out the programs.
Since the state government has started work with a vision for 2036 and 2047, all departments of the state government need to work together with team spirit in view of this, the Chief Minister said.
Principal Secretary Finance, Saswat Mishra presented a comparative income and expenditure statement for April-July.
The total income during the April-July period of the current financial year was Rs 57,085 crore, while the income during the same period last year was Rs 51,234 crore. This amount is 11.42 percent higher than the income of the corressponding period of last year.
