Samal Lauds Odisha Budget

Bhubaneswar: State BJP President Manmohan Samal has said that the current budget has satisfied people from all walks of life .

Reacting to the Annual Budget presented in  Odisha Assembly Shri Samal said that the overall development of Odisha has been given priority in the double  engine government. 

After the formation of the BJP government in the state for the first time, the Chief Minister and Finance Minister  Mohan Charan Majhi presented the state budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the state assembly today. 

In this budget, the government has emphasized on the overall development of the state. 

 The amount of the current budget is 2 lakh 65 thousand crores, which is 15% more than in 2023-24. 

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideals of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas, Sabka Prayas, the BJP government has given importance to four categories of poor, women, farmers and youth. 

 The BJP government is committed to the development of Odisha, which is clear in today’s budget. 

The first budget of the new government set the stage for the development of Odisha.  State President Shri Samal thanked and thanked Chief Minister Shri Majhi for this. 

Expenditures have been made in the first budget to fulfill the election promises. 500 crores for the development of Srimandir, Rs. 10 thousand crores for the much awaited Subhadra scheme, while Rs. 3100 per quintal of paddy . 

The old-age-disability allowance has been increased to Rs.3500.  

Similarly, Rs. 200 crores for the development of Odisha Asmita; 2426 crores for Chief Minister’s Health Services Mission; 5,000 crores have been allocated for Samruddha Farmer Yojana, 1,000 crores for Metro Rail, 10,000 crores for Developed Village-Developed Odisha, 6,090 crores for Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural), 6,000 crores for Jaljivan Mission. 

The current budget has given satisfaction to people from all walks of life.  Shri Samal said that the overall development of Odisha has been given priority in the double engine government.
