Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today reviewed the work of Planning and Coordination Department and asked to set up Trauma Care Centers in the mining bearing districts with support of District Mineral Fund (DMF).
He especially emphasized on the establishment of Trauma Care Centers in the districts where medical colleges are functional.
Advising the department officers to prepare a people oriented budget, Majhi opined that the general public has high expectations on the new BJP Government and said that it must be reflected in the state plan budget.
The Chief Minister advised to focus on ensuring that the schemes reach the grass root level and the people get the benefits.
According to the party’s election manifesto, he directed the Department to prepare a task force for the formation of North Odisha Development Council and South Odisha Development Council.
Similarly, the CM further advised to take steps by studying all the major promises made in the election manifesto.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg along with senior officials of Planning and Coordination Department briefed the Chief Minister about the functioning of the Department.
