Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi today distributed portfolios among his two Deputy Chief Ministers and Council of Ministers.
According to an order issued by Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has kept Home, Finance, General Administration and Public Grievance, Information & Public Relations, Water Resources, Planning & Convergence Departments.
Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy Departments have been allocated to Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo.
Deputy CM Pravati Parida will look after Women and Child Development, Tourism and Mission Shakti Departments.
Revenue and Disaster Management Department has been given to Cabinet Minister Suresh Pujari while Minister Rabi Narayan Naik to head Rural Development and Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.
Cabinet Minister Nityananda Gond has been allocated three departments. Those are—School & Mass Education, SC & ST Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare and SSEPD.
Similarly, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare and Science & Technology Departments have been allocated to Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, Prithiviraj Harichandan—Law, Works and Excise.
Dr. Mukesh Mahaling—Health and Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs and Electronics & Information Technology.
Cabinet Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena to head Commerce & Transport and Steel & Mines Departments.
Another Cabinet Minister, Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra to look after Housing & Urban Development and Public Enterprises Departments.
Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia is the new Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, and Labour & ESI, while Suryabanshi Suraj is the new Minister of Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services and Odia Language, Literature and Culture.
The Departments of Cooperation, and Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts have been given to Minister Pradeep Bal Samanta, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and MSME departments allocated to Gokulananda Mallik and Sampad Chandra Swain is the new Minister of Industries and Skill Development & Technical Education.
