New Delhi: Veteran Administrator Pramod Kumar Misra has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Prime Minister with effect from June 10.
“His appointment will be co-terminus with the term of the Prime Minister or until further orders whichever is earlier. During the term of his office, he will be assigned the rank of Cabinet Minister,” the government notification said.
Dr.Misra is a Retired IAS Officer of 1972 Batch and since 2014 he is with PMO.
Most trusted and honest Mandarin, Dr.Misra has been handling affairs of PMO smoothly.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet also approved the re-appointment of Ajit Doval as India’s National Security Advisor again.
