BJPYM Urges DGP Action

Bhubaneswar : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha President Abhilash Panda and several yuva morcha workers were allegedly attacked by BJD workers at Karanjmal village in Dhankuta panchayat of Chandbali constituency in Bhadrak district on June 30.

Yuva Morcha Vice President Sangram Patra has condemned the violent incident.

Addressing a press conference at the state office here, Shri Patra said State Yuva Morcha President Panda, General Secretary Sujit Singh, secretary Subrata Biswal, Prashant Paikroy, state co-convenor Ashutosh Nayak and several other Yuva Morcha activists were injured in the attack. The injured were later rescued and admitted to Basudebpur hospital in a pool of blood.

However, as their condition deteriorated, they were shifted to a hospital in Cuttack. And later for better treatment they were shifted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

Shri Patra has urged Director General of Police to arrest main accused and other accomplices  within the next 24 hours, unless BJPYM activists will gherao the DG’s office.
