Bhubaneswar: Just seven day normal treatment at Healthville Naturopathy Centre near Bhubaneswar has controlled the year old diabetic of an Ace Mandarin, Ashok Kumar Tripathy.
1981 Batch IAS Officer, who superannuated from service and was suffering from Diabetes has shared his vivid experience at the Naturopathy Centre and the treatment facilities provided there and how it helps the patients to control or cure their diseases.
Shri Tripathy, who is an Independent Director of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) strongly prescribes for Healthville Naturopathy Care, while detailing out his nice experience.
“When I checked in at the Healthville on 23 February, my fasting blood sugar was about 156 and slightly high BP . When I checked out on 1 March 2024 , my fasting blood sugar was 111 and BP was normal . I felt that my body has been detoxified fully and was very relaxed after a week here,” Shri Tripathy said.
“I believe in Naturopathy, Ayurveda and Yogic Science fully. Watching my interest in our WhatsApp group, about two months back, my IAS batch mate form Andhra Pradesh who was Chief Secretary there and is now into wellness requested me to do some blood tests,” Former Member Board Of Revenue said.
Shri Tripathy said no Diabetic Doctor had ever asked him to go for such test of blood till now. After the tests, he shared the reports with his batch mate and after consulting his doctors in his Wellness Centre at Bibinagar, Hyderabad, he told Shri Tripathy that his pancreas was healthy and secreting insulin and he may be cured of diabetes if I would agree to change diet and lifestyle.
“I was a diabetic for thirty years and was taking various diabetic tablets. Slowly doctors were prescribing me more and more medicines over the years though they made me do consultations with dieticians sitting in their clinics,” he shared.
Following the advice of his IAS batch mate, Shri Tripathy started controlling his diet and lifestyle. Within a few days, his fasting blood sugar was around 116 and he was asked to discontinue some diabetic medicines.
The discontinuance of three diabetic medicines did not have any impact on my blood sugar level. He also took some Ayurvedic formulations sent by his batch mate.
“I had heard of Healthville Naturopathy Centre, Bhalunka near Bhubaneswar earlier and had visited it during its construction at the tribal village of Bhalunka near Barang. I knew its founder Dr Satyabrata Minaketan who was a Past President of our Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage,” he said.
After reaching the centre, he consulted the in-house Naturopath Dr Milind Parashar and he prescribed some Ayurvedic packs and naturopath treatments for him in the morning and afternoon.
Sharing his experience at the Centre, the retired bureaucrat said, “I was worried whether I would be able to get up by 5 AM to get ready for the Yoga Session from 6AM to 7AM. To my surprise, I had a sound sleep around 10.30 PM and got up at 5 AM.”
“After that we had morning treatment of enema and mud pack over eyes and abdomen. After that we had herbal tea at the dining hall. I later switched to warm water with lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and two drops of honey,” he said.
Breakfast was sharp at 8.30 AM and consisted of soaked almonds and oats with sprouts and oats. After that there was a free time up to 9.30 AM in which I walked for about 2500 steps, cycled for about 15 minutes and walked barefoot on a lawn for 15 minutes.

Organic vegetables grown in the 25 acre campus were used in lunch and dinner. He had to go through all treatments religiously.
Lunch was at 12.30 pm and was vegetarian. But it was very tasty and mostly organic vegetables grown there were used. We had only two Ragi or Multigrain Rotis but Dal and Vegetarian Curry could be taken 2/3 times.
After lunch, there was relaxation time till 2.30 PM. Afternoon treatment started at 2.30 PM and we had neutral trunk pack, Gastro Hepatic pack, Shirodhara, Neutral Hip Bath, Neutral Spinal Spray and Jacuzzi on different days. He did colon hydrotherapy one day for which he was put on a special diet and butter milk for one day.
Every day, he had to consult the in-house Naturopath Dr Milind Parashar around 4 pm to decide about the next day’s treatments.
Afternoon treatment continued up to 4.30 PM after which he had soup (Carrot and Beetroot soup, Vegetable soup and Tomato soup etc.)
After 4.30 PM, he walked about 2500 steps, visited the dairy farm inside the campus, checked the rabbits kept in house and birds kept inside the campus and cycled inside the campus.
