New Delhi: BJP National Spokesperson and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi today slammed the Congress and its aide Opposition parties raising several issues.
While addressing at National Convention of BJP leaders ahead of Lok Sabha Polls, Shrimati Sarangi said the Opposition parties are gradually in splits and heading for the verge of collapse due to their negative of negativism, narrow-mindedness and corruption. The entire country is raising questions on their policy and intention, she said.
From May 2014 to till now, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India has taken a lot of historic decisions to make India a developed nation. However, the Congress and its aide Opposition parties have opposed all such moves of the BJP government, the BJP MP said.
“As a Lok Sabha MP, I saw how the Opposition parties have made attempts to create obstruction in the Parliament violating decorum of the House,” she said.
The opposition not only obstructed the Parliament proceedings, they also mocked the top people in the Constitutional posts and it indicates their narrow mindset, Shrimati Sarangi further said.
She asked the Opposition to introspect why all their allegations and claims are being rejected by courts.
Targeting the Congress party on the Ram Mandir issue, the BJP National Spokesperson said that Congress leaders boycotted the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and it indicates their expertise in community-pleasing politics.
Stating that the Narendra Modi Government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, Shrimati Sarangi said, “We all are proud of the fact that a lot of work has been done for Susasan (good governance), Seva (public service) and Garib Kalyan(welfare of the poor). We all are fortunate to be part of the largest party in the world, which has been carrying out its good governance.”
The two-day national convention of the BJP ended on a high note on Sunday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking the party cadre to focus on the next 100 days to win general elections. He asserted that even in foreign countries, everyone is sure that the BJP will return to power for a third term.
The PM stressed the importance of gaining the trust of all sections of society, signaling a commitment to inclusivity and broad-based governance.
Shri Modi urged the cadre to reach out to every new voter and beneficiaries of the government schemes in the next 100 days so that the party can win 370 seats.
