Cuttack: The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ was held at Ratapat and Dasharathipur villages of Badamba Block of Cuttack district.
The awareness vehicle of the Sankalp Yatra was accorded a rousing welcome by the villagers when it reached the village. On the occasion of The Sankalp Yatra, awareness was created about various major schemes of the Central Government.
In particular beneficiaries have been made aware about the various schemes being implemented by the Department of Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, Ujala Yojana, PM Kisan, Jan Dhan, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Postal Department.
The LED screens installed on the awareness vans broadcast awareness short films and video messages of the Prime Minister about various central schemes. The programme was attended by local public representatives and nodal officers of Sankalp Yatra and advised the beneficiaries to take advantage of government schemes .
On this occasion, all of them resolved to build a developed India by 2047. Additional Director General, Press Information Office (PIB), New Delhi, Kripashankar Yadav, Public Communication Officer, PIB, Bhubaneswar, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary and Information Officer Swadhin Shakti Prasad were also present on the occasion.
