Bhubaneswar; Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena has advised the Financial Advisors and Assistant Financial Advisors to work for the interest of the State while implementing GST Regulations.
Chief Secretary Shri Jena chaired the day long workshop organized by Odisha Government in the State Commercial Tax, Goods & Services Commissionerate and Department of Finance.
Shri Jena said FAs and AFAs have lot of experience in handling GST and Fiscal Management, so they are to be aware about the recent developments in GST Sector.
Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary Finance said Odisha has maintained that Odisha has performed exceedingly well financial management and GST implementation.
Shri Dev detailed out the law and rules of GST for the information of FAs, and AFAs.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commissioner GST and Principal Secretary Rural Development and Information & Public Relations briefed about GST rules and he detailed out about issues in GST.
Ashok Kumar Mohanty, Director Madhusudan Das Regional Financial Management Institute and other senior officials attended the workshop.
