Gurugram: The Translation of Shri Guru Bhagavata Volume One , Originally written in Odiya language into Malayalam language was released today by Guruji Chandra Bhanu Satpathy at Sai Ka Aangan , Gurugram , Haryana , in the presence of prominent personalities , many of whom were from Kerala.
Shri Guru Bhagavata is written in 8 volumes in original Odiya language and contains 34,000 lines. Few volumes have been translated into 16 languages. Malyalam is the 17th language in which it will be available henceforth.
The book has been translated into Malayali language by T V Muralivallabham , a noted scholar. It has been released under the aegis of CB Satpathy cultural foundation and Shri Guru Bhagavata trust , Kerala.
Renuka Arun along with other people have played a major role in getting the book translated and published.
The Event started with Kerala Cultural ethos. Guruji was welcomed with playing of Chenda (A drum played in Kerala) and taken in a procession to the sabha mandap accompanied by children adoring the Kerala attire.
The Cultural program began with Mohiniattam , a classical dance form of Kerala, Beautifully performed by Ahana . Followed by devotional songs from Sai ka Aangan children group. Introduction of Shri Guru Bhagavata , Malyalam was done by Shrimati Renuka.
The Release of the book was done by Guruji Dr.Satpathy. In his speech after the releasing the book , Guruji talked about the rich cultural heritage of kerala including religious literature . He also emphasized on the importance of guru tatwa and importance of teachers in our lives .
The audience consisted of People coming from many states of India . Many devotees joined the program from different parts of the world through Online .
The Program ended with distribution of Mahaprasadam , which consisted of best of kerala food traditions .The program was mirthful and joyous and full of fanfare and dramedies.
