Bhubaneswar: Prof. Basanta Kumar Panda, Project Director of Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Odia of Government of India, called on Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, Founder President of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) at his office on Tuesday.
Both academicians discussed several issues including rule of language in the New Education Policy as also Bharatiya Gyan Parampara (Indian Knowledge System).
In another development the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two private start-ups on Wednesday to generate and share knowledge in areas of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Drone Technology.
One MoU was signed between SOA and SPK MAK Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for familiarisation with industrial exposure for industry ready problems, live training program for students and faculties and lab development. SPK MAK, on the other hand, would receive student and faculty support for various projects.
The other MoU was inked between SOA and FxUAV Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of generating and sharing knowledge in the area of drone technology.
The signatories to the MoU was Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SOA and Mr. Subhajit Nayak and Mr. Dhrutidhar Behera who signed on behalf of SPK MAK Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Prof. Nanda also signed the other MoU while Mr. Parthasarathi Das, Mr. Subham Acharya and Mr. Ashutosh Mohanty were the signatories on behalf of FxUAV Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Incidentally, Mr. Ashutosh Mohanty is a 2019 graduate in mechanical engineering from SOA.
