Bhubaneswar: Top Mandarin, Sanjay Kumar Singh took over as Principal Secretary, Information & Public Relations.
Mr. Singh, a 1997 batch IAS Officer took charge of the Department of Information & Public Relations on Monday.
Director Information & Public Relations Indramani Tripathy welcomed Mr.Singh along with other senior officials.
After resuming charge, the Principal Secretary had discussion with senior officials regarding the functioning of the department.
Mr. Singh harpped on proper information dissemination to public on Trinity Chariot Festival (Rath Jatra) and its live coverage in national spiritual television channels for the devotees across the globe.
Director I & PR Mr.Tripathy briefed Principal Secretary Mr.Singh about the measures taken by the Department Information & Public Relations for the ensuing Rath Jatra.
