Bhubaneswar: R. Balkrishnan, Chief Advisor of the Chief Minister has emphasized on 5T Principles of the Odisha Government.
Inaugurating the Induction Training of OAS Officers Trainees at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration (GAA) by Sri Balkrishnan said the ever-growing and glowing narratives of the state that have transformed the support seeking state to a guiding partner to other States of the country, especially in Disaster Management, for which it has been well appreciated.
He also stressed upon the achievement of Odisha in multiple human development indices including women’s empowerment. Besides, he emphasized upon the importance of 5T principles that have helped in successful organization of mega events like World Cup Hokey and Make in Odisha
Subroto Bagchi, Chairman, Odisha Skill Development Authority presented key-note address, which inspired the Officer Trainees (OTs) to imbibe principles of ethical values to lead a well composed professional and personal life.
His lucid expressions, rich with vast experience, drew attention of the OTs. He advised the young officers to never compromise with their own conscience, integrity, honesty, and commitment to the cause under any circumstances.
Raj Kumar Sharma, Director General, GAA, presiding over the program emphasized on three Cs: character, compassion, and competency, which are the important qualities that an officer needs to possess.
He asked the young officers to keep giving regular feedback in order to make the training more interactive, productive, and beneficial. On this occasion, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration’s new logo was unveiled by the dignitaries.
The logo reflects the spirit and vibrancy of the apex training institute of Odisha.
Kiran Kumar Mohanty, one among 31 participating OAS Probationers, presented the expectations of the officers from the induction training, while requesting for the inclusion of course contents such as leadership, time and people management, and transparency, etc.
Himanshu Bhusan Panda, Additional Commissioner, GAA, welcomed the guests and informed about the composition of the Probationers and course modules.
Pratap Kumar Mishra, Deputy Director General, proposed vote of thanks. Mamatarani Naik, Deputy Director, GAA, managed the stage and Kananbala Nayak, Joint Director (Accounts) coordinated the program.
The three month long Induction Training is scheduled to continue till 22nd May.
