New Delhi: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan, also known as the BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme.
With a total financial outlay of 3,030 crore rupees, this initiative aims to establish three dedicated chemical parks across the country over a five-year period spanning from fiscal year 2026-27 to fiscal year 2030-31.
Each proposed park will cover a minimum contiguous area of 8 square kilometers, equivalent to roughly 2,000 acres, of encumbrance-free land. Designed to offer plug-and-play infrastructure, these chemical parks will feature shared Common Infrastructure Facilities and essential basic utilities tailored for the chemical industry.
By building high-quality industrial infrastructure, the scheme aims to encourage fresh investments, boost domestic manufacturing, and create substantial employment opportunities. Additionally, the shared environmental and utility setup will promote cleaner, more sustainable industrial growth throughout the sector.
In a significant move toward modernizing India’s railway network under the PM GatiShakti initiative, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the construction of 3rd and 4th rail lines between Ballari and Guntakal. Spanning key regions across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, the infrastructure project carries an estimated total cost of 1,264 crore rupees.
This expansion is set to transform local transport by improving connectivity for nearly seven lakh residents across 99 villages. Beyond enhancing regional accessibility, the additional tracks will bolster overall rail capacity, facilitate smoother passenger transit, and streamline freight movement. The initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to building a more efficient, reliable, and high-capacity railway network capable of driving the nation’s long-term economic growth.
