Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet has decided to make the recently released Hindi Movie ‘12th Fail’ tax free.
Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena said after the State Cabinet cleared the proposal.
The theme of the film carries a strong message to the young generation of being determined in the face of all adverse situations and never losing hope to achieve the ultimate goal of life, Jena said.
The Cabinet further approved the project for development of Ro-Pax Jetty & allied infrastructures connecting Kaninali in Bhadrak district and Talachua in Kendrapada district under Sagarmala Programme.
This project will be undertaken in Bhadrak and Kendrapada districts with a cost of Rs.146.39 crore. More than 1 Lakh people of 11 Gram Panchayats of Bhadrak & Kendrapara districts will be benefited from this project.
This connectivity project will reduce the travel time from 6 hours by road to 45 minutes by waterway. It will also increase the commercial/tourism activities in proposed locations and enhance the safety of the passengers, Chief Secretary Shri Jena said.
