While accommodating three senior IPS officers in the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) who returned from Central deputation, the State Government today affected a minor reshuffle at the higher echelon of State Police.
1988 batch IPS officer Arun Kumar Ray who joined in the parent cadre on return from Central deputation is posted as ADGP, Communication.
Mr.Ray was serving in Tea Board of India as Deputy Chairman at Kolkata under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
He replaced 1992 Batch IPS Lalit Das who is the new ADGP, State Police Headquarters now.
Yeswant Kumar Jethwa, IPS officer of 1994 batch joining the parent cadre on return from Central deputation is posted as ADGP, Law and Order.
Mr.Jethwa was IGP Special Protection Group(SPG) and was serving in New Delhi.
1993 Batch IPS Vinaytosh Mishra, who was ADGP, Headquarters is transferred and posted as Director, State Crime Record Bureau.
1996 batch IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh who was Additional Commissioner of Police will be the new IGP, Modernization.
1997 batch IPS officer Rekha Lohani who was IGP, Modernisation is transferred as Additional Commissioner of Police of Twin City.
Ritu Arora, IPS officer of 1995 batch who also joined in the parent cadre on return from Central Deputation will be new OSD in Department of Home.
While Rajesh Kumar of 1998 batch is posted as IGP, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Anupama James of 2013 Batch IPS , who is now the SP of Dhenkanal is transferred to the post of SP, Vigilance.
