All Members of Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA) will have to undergo RT-PCR Tests before the session begins on 29 September.
They along with their PSOs and Drivers will undergo RT-PCR Test from 07.30 AM to 9.30 AM on 27 and 28 September in the Assembly premises.

Odisha Legislative Assembly session begins from 29 September and will continue till 7 October for which State Government has asked Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation(BMC) , Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL) and
Director Capital Hospital to take steps for ensuring wellbeing of the Members and Officials of OLA.
Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, ACS Health and Family Welfare has issued detailed Action Plan for the BMC, OSMCL and Capital Hospital for prevention and containment of COVID-19 Pandemic.
BMC will provide all infrastructure like putting up tents and all other related arrangements at least before three days before the commencement of Assembly session.
Department of Health and Family Welfare will provide Doctors and Medical Staff with testing materials in the Assembly Premises so that all facilities will be in position before testing.
There will be RT-PCR Test for all Members of OLA along with PSOs and Drivers from 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM on 27 and 28 September in the Assembly Premises by Team of Doctors.
Again on 5th Day of the sitting on 4 October, there will be RT-PCR Tests of the Members, PSOs and Drivers.
If any Member feels uncomfortable during the Assembly Session, they may go for Antigen Test by the doctors in the Assembly premises.
There will be RT-PCR Test for all Officers and Staff of the OLA Secretariat and Staff of Chief Minister, Ministers, Leader of opposition, Government Chief Whip, Deputy Chief Whip from 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM from 26 to 28 September .
Members of OLA, Officials of Legislative, Question, Reporting Branches, and other House related staff, who are required to go inside the Assembly Hall will be provided Face Shield, Mask, Hand Gloves and Sanitizers by Department of Health & Family Welfare on daily basis before commencement of each sitting during the Session.
Director, Capital Hospital will deploy a Team of Doctors and medical Staff along with sufficient testing kits in the Assembly premises from 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM on 26-27-28 September and 4 October for necessary testing of COVID-19.
A Team of Doctors will also remain present during the ensuing State Assembly in case of any contigency, directed ACS Mr.Mohapatra.
