With the return from Central Deputation, Government of Odisha appointed 1991 Batch IAS Satyabrat Sahu as Principal Secretary, Department of MSME.
Department of General Administration and Pension Grievances brought out a notification in this regard on 29 June here.
Mr.Sahu, who had a successful tenure of seven long years in the Union Government returned to the State Cadre recently.
While the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) has mounted a very serious threat to economy, MSME sector is facing tough time due to the Pandemic.
Looking at the critical scenario, State Government has roped in services of Mr.Sahu as he is well acquainted with Government of India work culture and process involved in Center State Relationship.
Mr.Sahu has cordial relationship with Union Minister MSME Nitin Gadkari, said sources.
Mr.Sahu during his days in the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), he worked closely with Mr.Gadkari
NHIDCL is a fully owned company of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
MSME Sector, which forms the backbone of the Indian Economy and it, is one of the most crucial segments that let the economy grow by leaps and bounds need utmost care.
So Mr.Sahu has been brought in to the sector at a crucial period, feel insiders.
