Ajit Das No More

 Veteran Cine Star Ajit Das is no more.

 71 years old film actor passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here on Sunday.
 
Mr.Das was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
 
Mr.Das took training in National School of Drama (NSD) and had acted in over 60 Odia films and produced many plays.
 
Born in Karanjia in District of Mayurbhanj  in 1949, Mr.Das started his film career in 1976 with movie Sindura Bindoo.
 
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Chandra Sarangi and several other leaders condoled the demise of Mr.Das.
 
Culture and Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Information and Public Relations Minister Raghu Nandan Das condoled his sad demise.

Congress State President Niranjan Patnaik alos condoled sad demise of the versatile actor.
 
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik described Mr.Das as a great genius.
 
CM said that he had left an indelible mark in Odia film industry as a versatile Actor and Director.
 
 ‘Former Head of  Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Ajit Das' demise has created a great void in the Odila film industry which will take years to fill.
 
Mr.Das will continue to live in the hearts of innumerable cine lovers of Odisha, said CM.
 
CM conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
 
Odisha Film Industry also conveyed its condolences.
