Pavilion Showcases Odisha


An attractive Pavilion of Odisha was inaugurated at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi today.

 
Minister Information & Public Relations, Bikram Keshari Arukha inaugurated the well decorated Pavilion.
 
Chief Resident Commissioner of the Odisha Government, Sunil Kumar Bhargava, ACS MSME L N Gupta, Resident Commissioner Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, Director Industries S R Pradhan and other senior officers were present.
 
In keeping with the trade fair theme “Start Up India: Stand Up India”, Odisha Pavilion has been designed as ‘Start Up Odisha’, depicting Odisha’s industrial growth and the rich cultural heritage of the State.
 
 It also reflects Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s dynamic leadership as he has been awarded as the Best Administrator.

The pavilion has also beautifully displayed various welfare schemes, skill development and training programs implemented by the State Government.
 
The Odisha Government has spent over Rs.1.30 crore in the Pavilion, which is not only attractive but also thematic.  
 
Departments of Industries, MSME, Skill Development & Technical education, Tourism, Information & Technology and Information & Public Relations of the State Government have participated in the Theme Sector.
 
Besides, as many as 30 sales counters have been opened by State Handloom & Textiles, Handicrafts and Cottage Industries departments.
 
Odisha Day will be held at the Hansdhwani Theatre of Pragati Maidan on November 23.
 
The India International Trade Fair will continue till November 27, which attracts thousands of visitors.
