Brunda Belongs To BJP!

It seems to be a design to malign Naveen Patnaik Government by the senior leaders of the party, feel insiders.
And BJD Veteran and Agriculture Minister Damodar Rout has taken a lead on that socre.
Dr.Rout is going on courting controversies and embarassing the BJD
 Government.
He has has courted yet another controversy.
Dr.Rout said he will not visit the house of deceased farmer Brunda Sahu as he does not belong to BJD.
Minister said this while reporter wanted to know whether he has any plan to visit house of Sahu, who committed suicide allegedly over pest attack on his crop.
Dr.Rout’s statement came after Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Gajendra Singh Shekhawat met the farmer’s family members.
“The Union Minister is visiting as he (Brunda Sahu) might be of the BJP. Since he is not my party man, why should I visit,” asked Rout.
Mr.Sahu had committed suicide on November 1, a day after he had set his pest-affected paddy crops on fire.
Dr.Rout said the state goverbnment has already directed an enquire into the suicide incident and a high-level probe team is conducting the investigation.
“What for he committed suicide? Why did he set his paddy crop on fire in the field prior to that? On the very next day, he committed suicide in presence of many people. All angles and aspects are being probed into by a high-level team,” he stated.
Mr.Sahu’s family has meanwhile denied Dr.Rout’s statement and claimed that they are poor farmer and do not belonged to any political party, whether BJD, BJP or Congress.
Dr.Rout’s statement is not acceptable, late farmer’s daughter said.
Earlier, Dr.Rout’s statement that the farmers who burnt their paddy field would not get any financial assistance, had also sparked a statewide controversy before women staging demonstration over his “Swami Chhadi, Anganwadi” remark.
Visiting Union Minister visited Sahu’s house and met his family members while being accompanied by BJP State President Bsant Panda and BJP legislature party leader K V Singhdeo.
Mr.Shekhawat also visited several areas to assess the crop situation and talked to a numbner of farmers during his visit.
Later Union Minister Mr.Shekhawat today alleged that  the Thaimate brand of pesticides used by farmers in Odisha does not kill the pests but helps in their procreation.
Mr.Sekhawat said this after meeting several farmers in Bargarh and Sonepur districts.
“The farmers have used Thaimate pesticides due to lack of proper communication. I was surprised to know that many farmers have used Thaimate and similar pesticides that helps in spreading Brown Plant Hopper (BPH) pest,” said Shekhawat.
Reacting over the Union Minister’s statement, BJD leader Subash Singh questioned the basis of his claim.
“When did the Union Minister turn into a research scholar? Which committee has provided him the report? A team of scientists must provide the report whether the pesticide is right or not,” said Mr.Singh.
Mr.Shekhawat during his visit to Bargarh district went to Kalapani village to meet the family of deceased farmer Brunda Sahu, who had committed suicide on November 1 allegedly over crop loss due to pest attack
