OMC Contributes 500 CR

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) is contributing    Rs 500 crores to Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) for supporting the State Government efforts to control the COVID-19 situation.

OMC, as a responsible Public Sector Company of the State Government has decided to contribute to CMRF during the Period of Crisis.

Chairman of OMC, Sanjeev Chopra chaired the Board of Directors meeting in which it was also decided to give Rs 250 crore interim dividend for Year 2019-20.

The COVID-19 has created an extraordinary situation across the world.

The State Government has taken pro-active measures to contain the spread of the virus.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appealed for support from all sections of the society, while contributing Three Months Salary for the COVID-19 Fund.

This is apart from the above contribution OMC has already contributed Rs.100 to CMRF in February 2020.
