Pradhan Lauds Poor Quota


Union Minister Petroleum and Natural Gas Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on 10 January said the Narendra Modi Government at the New Delhi has added a new chapter by providing 10 per cent reservation to economically weaker people in the general category.

 
Addressing the 'Global Skill Summit, 2019' at Khelgaon in the presence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and other eminent guests, Mr.Pradhan said after 70 years of independence, reservation on the basis of the poor (category) was provided.

"The way Rozgar Mahakumbh organized on 10 January in Jharkhand will see the same in the whole country in the coming times and the reservation based on economic criteria will benefit the poor," said Mr.Pradhan.
 

He appreciated the Jharkhand Government’s efforts in bringing the industry, the youth and the government on one platform.
 
Union Minister said that for the first time in the history of Independent India that over one lakh youth received appointment  letters at one go.
 
Mr.Pradhan said that other states will also get support in Jharkhand Government’s efforts in skill development.
 
He said textile industry in Vietnam is posing challenge for  China and the youth here could also learn and challenge the world.
 
Minister Mr.Pradhan also informed that there was a need for trained manpower in several countries and there was a need to skill the youth as per the needs.
 
The Jharkhand Government on Thursday gave appointment letters to 11 youths symbolically as one lakh and six thousand youth got jobs in the Corporate Sector.
