BJP Govt Gave More

Union Home Minister Amit Shah  Monday said that the Union Government led by BJP has given more grants to Odisha and in fact it has extended Rs 5,52,109 Crore Assistance to this Eastern State in last 5 years.

Mr.Shah said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has only one goal to develop the Eastern Zone of the Country.

Addressing the Virtual Rally for Odisha from New Delhi, Saffron Veteran urged the party workers to work hard and ensure that the BJP becomes stronger in the state.
He urged them to transform Odisha into the saffron party’s fortress as the people of the state have full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reeling out stats on 2019 General Election Results, he said that about 91 lakh people of Odisha had voted in favour of BJP while electing 08 MPs to Lok Sabha and 23 Lawmakers to the State Legislative Assembly.
“The work started during my tenure (as BJP President) is now half-complete. It should be completed during the tenure of JP Nadda. Party organization should be further strengthened and Odisha should be made a BJP fortress,” said Mr.Shah said.
Union Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was fully committed to the development of Odisha.
He said BJP led Union Government stood by Odisha during natural calamities like cyclone Fani, Bulbul and the recent Super Cyclone Amphan.
He said the Prime Minister’s love for Odisha is evident when he rushed to visit the state two days after the Super Cyclone hit the State.
Shah said the Prime Minister immediately Rs 500 crore for Odisha for the relief and restoration activities for the Amphan.
Reeling out stats Mr.Shah said Odisha had never received such huge Central Assistance earlier.
Union Minister said the schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat, Ujjwala, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and PM-KISAN have immensely benefited the people of Odisha.
Union Minister Steel and Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan said there is hell and heaven difference between Congress and BJP led Union Government.

He recalled a meeting of Odisha MPs with then-PM Man Mohan Singh in 2005. “When Odisha MPs demanded for more funds for the development of Odisha, the then Prime Minister  had commented that ‘Money doesn’t grow on trees.’

In sharp contrast, Modi Government released Rs 500 crore a day after cyclone Amphan,” Mr.Pradhan said.

Union Minister Pratap Sarangi, Odisha BJP In Charge, Arun Singh and others addressed the virtual meet.
