Rotary Heritage Helps Poor


In the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic induced crisis,  the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage Members have come forward to help out poor people.

Rotary Club Bhubaneswar Heritage(RBCH), which has seventy members belonging to different professions including  Administrative Officers , Engineers , Doctors , Private Sector Executives etc have joined together to ease distress of the people.
 
In view of Covid19 pandemic , many Members of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage have personally contributed to PMCares Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund .
 
In addition to it on 16 May 2020 , it distributed dry ration , face masks and umbrellas to 50 poorest tribal families of Bhalunka and nearby villages of Bhubaneswar Block, which is about 16 Kilometers away from Chandaka Police Station .
 
RBCH continued to assist another 100 ST and SC families of their adopted village Bhalunka and nearby hamlets on 31 May 2020.
 
This was organized at the campus of Healthville , Bhalunka and led by its President Rtn Dr Sarangadhar Samal.
 
Dr.Samal is the Founder Chairman of Kalinga Eye Hospital , Dhenkanal.
 
And President Elect Rtn Dr Satyabrat Minaketan, Founder Chairman of ODM School, Bhubaneswar joined the Team.
 
RCBH Team was assisted by Past President Rtn Debabrata Panigrahi and Rtn Ashok Kumar Tripathy and others.
 
It also joined with State Bank of India , Main Branch in a Blood Donation in May and collected 35 units with the help of Red Cross Blood Bank .
 
RCBH is the leading Rotary Club in Capital City, which is continuously engaged in philanthropic action round the year.
