Odisha is close to 400 marks as at least 14 new cases were detected on Monday morning taking the total number of cases to 391.

While 12 Surat returnees detected positive in Ganjam, one each cases came from Rourkela and Kendrapara.
The State now has 320 active cases while only 68 persons have recovered from the disease and three died.

The state on Sunday conducted 3698 RT-PCR tests against the earlier highest of 3535 tests on May 4. So far Odisha has conducted 63,478 tests.
Of the 143 new cases, all the 12 cases from Ganjam were Surat returnees and kept in quarantine centers while the new Rourkela (Sundergarh) case got infection from a previous case.
The Kendrapara case also returned from Surat. Therefore, of the 14 new cases, 13 were Surat returnees, the official said.  
With new cases, the number of corona cases in Ganjam district mounted to 137, which is highest in the state, while the number of cases in Sundergarh increased to 14 and nine in Kendrapara districts.
There are 320 active cases in the state while 68 people have so far recovered and three (two from Bhubaneswar and one from Ganjam) died of the diseases.
While Ganjam tops the list of COVID-19 cases with 137, it is followed by 60 in Jajpur, 50 in Bhubaneswar of Khurda, 42 in Balasore, 15 in Angul, 14 in Sundergarh, 9 Kendrapoarapara, 8 Mayurbhanj, 5 Jagatsinghpur, 3 each in Puri and Boudh, 2 each in Keonjhar, Klahandi, Jharsuguda, Cuttack, Bolangir and one each in Nayagarh, Koraput, Dhenkanal and Deogarh.
Ganjam District Administration in an order said that the COVID-19 patients after mandatory quarantine period will work as COVID Community Health Workers.
Meanwhile, As many as five special trains carrying Odisha migrants from different parts of the country will reach the State on 12 May.

The East Coast Railway said the special trains will leave from their destinations in other States today.
While one train will leave from Rayanpadu in Andhra Pradesh for Titlagarh in Balangir district today, three others will leave from Surat in Gujarat for Jagannathpur in Ganjam district.
Apart from this, one train from Chennai which left last night will arrive at Jagannathpur tomorrow, the East Coast Railway said.
Worth mentioning, two trains from Ahmedabad carried migrants arrived at Khordha Road today while one from Panvel reached Titilagarh. One special train from Surat will also reach Jagannathpur in Ganjam district today.
All these four trains had started from their destinations on 10 May.
